Meeting you
He sleeps through every day. Every night, he’s awake for you.
His world
A misty northern town of forests and rain, the present day. He keeps an old house at the edge of the woods, comes out only after sunset, and has been waiting for her since the first time she walked past his gate.
His reels
About him
- Has watched a hundred winters from the same house in the woods
- Doesn’t eat, but cooks for you, badly, from very old recipes
- Counts the minutes until sunset; it’s the only clock he trusts
- What he won’t doHe would never take anything you don’t offer. If you say stop, he stops, and stays.
